MP Orthodontics devises a personalised treatment pathway designed specifically for you. We understand every person is different, so every treatment is different too.
We think our POD model is the best way to treat and manage the patient’s orthodontic treatment pathway. Why? Because it involves you, your dentist and orthodontist working together to identify, treat and manage your treatment and transform your smile. We believe it’s the pathway to confidence.
Welcome you aboard
Most initial connections with patients occur through their referring dentists. Although it's more common that patients reach out to us directly, we believe that the dentist plays an important role in your overall orthodontic treatment and should be working closely with us.

Diagnose and identify your orthodontic condition
To understand exactly what you need, your orthodontist will walk you through an initial consultation. Think of it as “getting to know you”. We want to develop a clear picture of exactly what treatment pathway will work for you.

We love these consults because they’re all about the possibilities. They create a sense of hope for people who’ve struggled with complex orthodontic challenges, sometimes for many years. Although treatment might seem daunting, especially for children and teens, right from the first step, we stand beside you.
Some lucky people require no treatment and that’s great. If this is the case for your child, we recommend you continue having annual growth and development checks while they continue to grow.
Our treatment coordinator will take you through the fees and range of flexible payment options MP Orthodontics has to simplify access to treatment.
Plan and commence treatment

When this preparatory work is completed, we will meet with you to finalise the ideal treatment pathway for you or your child, considering all factors, including finance. Once we have formulated your personalised plan, your first appointment to commence treatment will be booked.
What happens at your first treatment appointment:
You can be assured, we’re with you every step of the way. Our friendly staff will follow up after this appointment to check in with how you’re travelling. And if at any time you have concerns, just let us know.
Orthodontic Treatment
Periodically throughout treatment, it will be necessary for you to come in for monitoring appointments. Your orthodontist will discuss this with you when treatment is being planned.
We understand your time is valuable. That’s why we schedule appointment times to reduce or eliminate unnecessary wait times and limit the disruption to your day.
For the duration of your treatment, we will remain in regular contact with you and your dentist. We consider this essential to getting the best outcome for you. Remember, we are only a phone call away if you have any questions, concerns or emergencies.
Completion of Orthodontic Treatment
Treatment times vary, however, every patient welcomes the day their treatment is completed. At MP Orthodontics, we celebrate the end of treatment. Once the technical details are out of the way - appliances or braces removed - it’s time to enjoy the beautiful smile you’ve worked hard to create.
We find that after treatment is completed, people feel they have transformed their lives. We love being part of this life-changing process. Our patients are encouraged to share their story with others so they understand the many benefits of early interceptive, teen and adult treatment.
