Superannuation for Orthodontics

The Australian Tax Office allows the early release of superannuation for essential dental treatment under the Compassionate Release of Super program. The program intends to make essential medical treatment accessible and includes orthodontic treatments.

The SuperCare application includes all out-of-pocket expenses. This can include private hospital fees along with travel and accommodation expenses that are deemed essential. You can use your super to pay for braces and Invisalign. You can also use the early release of super for the following dental treatments:
