For some patients, orthodontic treatment involves more than preventive action or braces. Treatment is more serious, requiring complex solutions, including surgery, that are delivered over multiple stages.

Our orthodontists - Dr Martin Poon and Dr Geoff Hall - are both experienced orthodontists in the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of complex cases. They welcome enquiries from patients who:

Have been told they have no other option.
Want to find a way to manage a difficult orthodontic issue.

Martin has been very thorough , efficient, professional and we are very happy with Sophie's teeth. I have no reservations recommending MP Orthodontics .I take one star away though because it is very difficult to contact the receptionist. We had to pop in to make an appointment since I was trying for a week to contact reception. Other than this, we are very happy with the service and after care.

Dr Martin has been treating me for a little while now. He’s highly experienced, gentle, patient and always runs on time if not ahead. He is a well known orthodontist, I seem to constantly meet people in my profession who have been treated by him. Although the commute to the practice is 1.5 hours from my work, it’s more than worth it. I was told by other orthodontists I needed surgery prior to seeing Dr Martin but he was able to make a huge difference through extractions with Invisalign. Dr. Martin has now placed lower clear braces on me at my request for a few minor changes that I wanted corrected. I’m quite a perfectionist and he has accommodated in every way. The braces are so comfortable and look like I’m not wearing any braces at all. In addition, the new dental office looks amazing! It is extremely modern and beautifully presented. The team is also very friendly and often call/email back very promptly if I have any queries whatsoever. Could not recommend MP orthodontics highly enough!

This is our 3rd child who is undergoing treatment with MP Orthodontics. All staff are really lovely, warm and knowledgeable. MP Orthodontics are definitely 5 stars!! They are very very thorough, great with communication, very reasonably priced (the ortho across the road was $3k more!!!) and not only that....it’s the same practice that I got my braces done when I was young!!! Yep 1975.They are state if the art, brilliant scanning tech and we couldn’t be happier with our sons outcome. Such a visible difference!!! Definitely getting out second son braces now! Invisalign takes a little longer but is so uninvasive.Would recommend MP to everyone !!!

Loved this place so much! Got my braces when I was a young child and everyone who worked there was always so welcoming and lovely to you every visit. Martin was really good at explaining to my son what was happening with his teeth and jaw and how it could be fixed. Once Martin was finished explaining the process Kerrie carried on the conversation with my son about colour options and how he would feel throughout the entire process. My son really felt like he was part of an important conversation and I believe it has mitigated any potential anxiety about the process. Dr Geoffrey Hall and Robyn were really helpful during my initial visit, they were highly professional and determined to show me which options were suitable for my case. I went with the metal braces and I'm very happy with that decision.My bite has drastically improved over the course of the treatment, it feels a whole lot better now compared to how my bite was before starting. My teeth have never looked so good and straight! Where to begin…there are a handful of good things to say. I really appreciated the reminders as well as the personal phone call the day before to check if all was ok. Which in my case, I had to reschedule because my son was sick, and they made it very easy to do so. The staff was really friendly. The consultation with Dr Martin was very thorough and he answered all our questions and concerns making the decision much easier. Then we spoke with Kerrie, who went through the cost of each option, and was very good at helping us understand what we can do moving forward. These types of consultations can sometimes be stressful, but we found it friendly, reassuring, and comfortable. Thank you

My husband had a consultation this afternoon with Martin, having gone through adult braces myself I am so taken back by their professionalism. From the clinic itself and and the staff.I couldn't recommend higher. The whole experience today was fantastic, through to the very clear and lengthy consult through to the newest of technology services they provide.The consult didn't feel rushed at all & they really listened to our wanted end result & worries involving them.Kerrie was amazing she made us feel very welcome and really valued, you can tell they genuinely care about their patients & their work.
